How does the conflict develop throughout your story?

  1. William Fletcher. The conflict in my book develops through my character and his father's business. My character is the one who the conflict affects the most. He has to keep everything under control with increasing stakes. If he messes up he could ruin a whole business and their business opportunities. My character is constantly under pressure from the conflict that is developing around him.

    1. My character faces similar challenges. He has to try to keep everyone from finding out his families secret (His older brother and himself). If all the secrets are let out and the conflict comes down on him , his whole life will be ruined. He will most likely be split up from his brother into a foster home.

  2. The conflict in my story gets increasingly more hostile as the book goes on. In the beginning of the book, a star player on the football team dies. The conflict here, is that afterward, Erik (who takes the football player's place) laughs about it and is happy. Then, the main character has a fight with his friend. Later in the book, three houses are stolen from, Erik punches one of the main character's friends, and Erik also kills one of the main character's friends. Eventually, some people attack Erik and only succeed in giving him a black eye. A little later, the main character remembers (he had been young when it happened) that Erik had sprayed white spray paint in his eyes. My book has a lot of conflict, and it gets worse as the story goes on.

    1. Rawan Alsaeedy- My book develops like your book because at beginning of my story, my main character is lonely and doesn't have many friends. Later in the story she gets better at reading and has much more friends.

    2. My book i see is very similar to yours in some ways. Mainly in the way that the conflict increasingly gets worse, but in the end of my book the conflict is slightly resolved.

    3. Talon Alexander. My book just like yours has a plot in which the conflict gets worse and worse. In the beginning my character gets beat up a bunch of Hitler Youth thugs and so he turns to boxing. Then he is kicked out for being a Jew and also due to being a Jew he is kicked out of boxing as well. That is not even the worst of it.

  3. William Fletcher. My book is not similar in that the conflict do not get worse if anything the get better. The worse conflicts are the beginning of the book when his father's whole business lies on his shoulders. Then it becomes just a contract that his father needs to get. This get smoother rather than harsher as the story goes on and his relationships with others get better.

    1. William Fletcher. That was supposed to be a comment to Riley Bartlett.

  4. Talon Alexander. The conflict in my story starts when a Hitler youth group called the Wolf pack attacks our main character. They also exposed him for being a Jew. Then Hitler comes into office and goes on a whole antisemitism rampage and this causes there to be a new school staff that will spread his antisemitic ideas. Due to this change in command my main protagonist is kicked out of school. As antisemitism grows worse my main character is kicked out of boxing and then his home is broke into, his father is stabbed and his father is also captured by the Gestapo.
