Aaliyah- The main character's decision did change her life. Tris was first in a faction or group called Abnegation. The Abnegation are humble and selfless. When you hit the age of 16 you go to the choosing ceremony. This is where you choose what faction you want to go to for the rest of your life, if you pass the entry test. Tris choose the faction of Dauntless. This faction is all about protecting the city and fighting. They always carry weapons and look intimidating. This choice definitely changed her life tremendously.
Camilo- think that people should be able to do and be whatever they want to be. Also I think it is great that Tris was able to something that she loved and enjoys.
Talon Alexander. My main characters decision to pursue boxing has a huge affect on his life. In the beginning it was just a way for him to learn how to protect himself because beat up pretty badly by a group of people. However, the friendship he builds up with his mentor ends up saving his life. At the end of the he and his sister staying at my main characters house after Nazis went and destroyed peoples houses. Also thanks to his mentor he ends up going to America.
Niyani- My character's decision to break barriers and pursue knowledge has made her stronger. With the new move, she had to adjust to new barriers that would keep her from meeting with her brother and father. She also had to face her aunt and her cousin making her life terrible by socially isolating her and treating her like a servant. However, her love for books and knowledge has made her strong and sharp so that it doesn't bother her whatsoever.
Andreas. I like Niyani's answer because it really talking about the dicisions her character has made and how they have affected her. Also because itis a strong answer with that has support behind it. that is why I like Niyani's answer.
Rawan- My main character's confidence also builds up with friendship. She starts out without any friends. Then she just lets her mouth do the talking and she makes two amazing friends.
Malena- My character had to face her mother and ask her to have things or do things, like cook in the kitchen instead of always eating takeout. This has helped her in living with her mother all summer and have things in the empty house that she calls home. Another example is asking the mother if she could buy them a t.v. to be entertained and leave her alone. The next day there was a secondhand radio. So asking helped her and her sisters.
Camilo- My character's main decision has helped his life a lot. It has helped by making great friends, being able to protect his family, and being able to stand up for himself. Also he was able to achieve his dream that he has been wanting to achieve for a very long time. Finally my character has been able to many more things than he thought he could do.
Terrence - My characters decisions have affected his life. Michael is a foreign. His mom and dad have passed sadly, and he is living with him older brother. His brother is working illegally, and if they get caught it would be bad. They could get separated and put into different homes. They decide not to tell anyone, even if most people could help. But, they eventually opened up to someone, and most of their problems were solved.
I think that Michael and his brother made the right decision to open up to someone because who knows how much longer they were going to last if they hadn't told someone about it then his brother would go to jail and Michael would have to be put in a foster home most likely.
William- My character's decision to open up to someone is just like yours in a way. Holling was a kid who normally kept to himself. His relationship with his teacher was not to great and his dad's business deal relied on him. Holling does what he is asked of and eventually opens up to his teacher. After Holling does this he and his teacher's relationship builds and they become good friend sand everything turns out fine. By the way Holling is the main character.
MY book is "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind" and the main character (William) made a big decision that effected his life a lot! In the book William's parents were too poor to pay the fees for him to go to school, so he had to drop out. After this event, he found a library in the area and started going almost everyday when he didn't have to work in the fields. He found this book that on the cover had a picture of a windmill. He read the book and found that the windmill could help his family later on if they had a bad storm that washed all of the crops out. In the book, William started building his own windmill from pieces of junk and trash in the area. With this action, he made light for his room, and is starting to figure out how to get power for his whole house. But thing are just starting for him as he is figuring out how to build new things from pieces of trash and junk.
I think your character has made a very good decision to help his family. His family may be able to save some money if he can power the whole house and may be able to go back to school. Thats a theory. Or he may stay home and make some more creations based off books to help his family more.
Alyssa My main character has made a decision that has affected him. He decided that instead of saying that he was not feeling well, he just went on and played soccer. Because of this decision, Nick was not able to do his best and got hurt. He was sent to the hospital and had to get surgery. If he just told someone he wasn't feeling well, this incident may have never happened and he would not of hurt his ankle. This decision changed the way Nick thinks and will now tell his parents if something is wrong no matter what it is.
My main character, Gerta's, decision to dig under the Berlin wall with her brother, Fritz, to reunite with their father and brother, Dominic, changed her entire family and best friend's family forever. It is because of Gerta's decision that she and her family successfully escaped to West Berlin.
